Kegon no Taki Water Fall, at 97 m high,One of the 3 highest waterfalls of Japan, is located at Lake Chūzenji in Nikkō National Park.
There are 2 viewing platforms, one is free(at the top).
The other is not free and an elevator brings you down 100m so that you get to view the waterfall upclose.
About twelve smaller waterfalls are situated behind and to the sides of Kegon Falls including Nehan no Taki Waterfall.
If you go there by car, you might need carsickness medicine. You have to drive along very steep and curvy road.
Kegon no Taki Waterfall is quite the majestic waterfall.
