By public transportation:
Approximately 90 minutes by JR Chuo Line from Tokyo Station to Ohme Station and 35 minutes by JR Ohme Line to Okutama Station. Get a taxi to Umezawa Gorge Entrance(10minutes)

The entrance is located at the end of the street in front of American Camping Village. You can see three waterfalls on compassable way taht takes 90 minutes by walk. As It has some steep slant, It's not for the experienced climber though.
Each waterfall has each view and different atmosphere. The Nejire no Taki Waterfall is srounded by rocky hillside and make an echoing sound of water's falling.You can feel some sprit.

Trees are beautiful in deep autumn: greens, yellows, reds, oranges, every shade between.

[Getting there]
Approximately 90 minutes by JR Chuohonsen Line from Tokyo Station to Oume Station and 35 minutes by JR Oume Line to Okutama. It takes about 30 minutes to Kawanoribashi Stop by Nishi Tokyo Bus and another 90 minutes on foot to "Hyakuhiro no Taki Waterfall."

"Hyakuhiro no Taki Waterfall" is located in the Nippara Area (North of Okutama).
You will see a gate that says, "Cars should not enter except institutional use."
Open this gate and proceed to the Hosokawa bridge from the Kawanoribashi bus stop. (It will take about 45 minutes.)
From the Hosokawa bridge, there will be an unpaved road beside the Kawanoritani Valley.
On this road, you will be able to take in the sound of the river's flow. (This walk will also take about 45 minutes.)
Finally, the 40-meter-high "Hayahiro no Taki Waterfall" will appear.
The basin of the waterfall is accessible to go into.

We really enjoyed seeing the moss-covered trees and rocks, as well as the other small waterfalls.

We really had no time to see any of the gigantic trees of Nippara, but the area is famous for them.

[Getting there]
Approximately 5-7 minutes by Tokyo-Metro Hanzomon Line or Tozaisen Line from Otemachi Station(connect to Tokyo station) to Kudanshita Station. About 2 minute by foot from Number 2 exit at Kudanshita Station to the entrance of Kitanomaru Koen Park.

Kitanomaru Koen Park is located southern of Imperial Palace in the central of Tokyo.
Tokyo is very busy city. So let's escape and refresh yourself.
Kitanomaru Koen Park contains many places to have a rest on wooden chairs, ones made of stone, and grass.
The science would make you relax.






Also you can enjoy at The sciencs and technology museum.
A lot of goods for emperic tests for children at the front shop would be good souvenirs.
