Located in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, there is a class called "Eikaiwa-Saakuru."
In English, it basically translates to "English Conversation Circle."
This class is held every Thursday night from 7PM to 9PM.
I recently started going there this past June, and I really enjoy it.
There are about 90 people (most being Japanese) who come and talk to each other in English.
12-15 tables are there for 6 or so people to sit at.
There are several levels of English conversation that everyone is divided to.
This is done so that people can sit and converse with others of the same level and skill.
I was nervous at first. Though, I soon got used to it and started to exchange views on various topics.
I find this class as a great opportunity to develop English conversation skills.
And the best part is, IT ONLY COSTS 500 YEN!
